Check the understanding of the class by explaining the examples given on P166 and P167 of SB. Section B Reading More Divide the class into two groups and ask each group to prepare a PPT about some content of the text before class. Assign Paras.1-2 to Group One and Paras.3-6 to Group Two. Ask the Ss to include the following content in their PPT: 1) the modern appliances that the woman uses; 2) what the woman does with all those modern appliances; 3) whether all the modern appliances lead to a busy and efficient life; 4) your own opinions of using modern appliances. Give the class time to the students and allow them to show their PPT with the whole class. Help them when needed. Section C Practical Writing Guide the Ss to finish the three exercises on P173 and P174 of SB according to the samples given.
